1. About Subbies

Subbies is a marketplace platform operated by Subbies Group Limited (NZ registered company). Subbies connects builders and subcontractors in New Zealand. By using Subbies, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Eligibility

Subbies is a business-to-business platform for New Zealand trade businesses. You must be operating as a legitimate trade or construction business to use the platform. The platform is not intended for private homeowners or consumers.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating your profile.

4. Free launch phase

Subbies is currently free to use during our launch phase (from 1 July 2026 until the end of 2026 or until we announce a transition to paid plans, whichever comes first). We reserve the right to introduce subscription fees at any time with reasonable notice to registered users.

5. User conduct

You agree not to post false or misleading information, harass other users, use the platform for any unlawful purpose, or attempt to circumvent the platform by taking relationships off-platform to avoid future fees. Subbies reserves the right to suspend or remove accounts that breach these terms.

6. Ratings and reviews

Ratings must be honest and based on genuine experience. Subbies does not verify ratings but reserves the right to remove ratings that are false, abusive, or in breach of these terms.

7. Transactions between users

Subbies facilitates connections between builders and subcontractors but is not a party to any agreement, contract, or transaction between users. Subbies Group Limited accepts no liability for disputes, non-payment, property damage, injury, or any other matter arising from arrangements made between users through the platform.

8. Intellectual property

All content on the Subbies platform, including the Subbies name, logo, and design, is owned by Subbies Group Limited. You retain ownership of the content you upload to your profile.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, Subbies Group Limited is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by New Zealand law. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
